Demonstration Administration
Top Cat Racing Ireland reserves the right to alter any part of the demonstration program or the course for whatever reason they consider necessary. Amendments to the program will be announced at Drivers Briefing.
In the case of gross misconduct, i.e.: infringement of the demonstration rules or breach of good manners likely to discredit the sport, this will result in an appropriate penalty by the Event Officials and may include disqualification.
Entries
All entries must be submitted on the official form along with the correct entry fee of TBA,
Pit Area
All boats and trailers should be padlocked. All vehicles, possessions and boats will be left in the pit area at the owners risk; we advise that all teams have their own insurance.
Briefing
Briefings will be held in Officials Tent
Signing-in will commence prior to Drivers briefing. All drivers and co-drivers must
sign-in and attend briefing.
Launching
Launching is under the strict control of the Launch Marshall. Boats will be launched by
authorized vehicles only, on the designated area.
Testing
Testing will be permitted daily with consent of the Officer Of the Day at this Venue.
Start Procedure
All details will be explained at briefing.
Finishing Procedure
The last lap flag will be shown; on completing that lap,
the finish will be signified by a cheqerd flag.
Safety
Safety takes precedence over racing at all times.
Failure to abide by any rules listed in the rulebook will lead to disqualification.
Please note:
All rubbish must be disposed of; a €50 fine will be levied if personal litter is left after the
Demo. Courses and instructions regarding Demo days will be given at briefing
Flags:
Start flags: Yellow and Green
Last lap flag: ISA Flag
Finish flag: Chequed
Abort demo flag: Red
Black flag: Specific boat – dangerous driving, abort demo.
Yellow: Attention! NO OVERTAKING, Incident ahead, slow down.
Please make sure you understand your demo instructions.
